**We Live by Knowledge** is a visually captivating, full-color pictorial book by the Fatimah Foundation, designed for learners with disabilities. As part of our Augmented Reality (AR) project, this interactive book brings letters and characters to life when viewed through a smart device, offering an engaging, multi-sensory experience. The book reflects the rich cultural knowledge and lived experiences of all people including migrant, ethnic, and Muslim communities in Aotearoa, New Zealand, while promoting inclusivity and accessibility for all learners.

The creation of Te Pou Whenua Rangimarie was a collaborative process shaped by the insight and creativity of a tangata whenua rangatahi with a disability. Through a series of hui (meetings) and discussions, this young designer brought unique perspectives on land, peace, and cultural heritage, infusing the process with their artistic vision and where creativity shone through, offering innovative ideas that blended traditional Māori values with contemporary elements.

Their design for Te Pou Whenua Rangimarie symbolizes the deep connection to whenua (land) and the enduring spirit of peace and unity. This holistic and inclusive approach ensured that the rangatahi’s voice and lived experience were at the heart of the creation, resulting in a culturally rich and meaningful symbol that reflects the aspirations of both the present and future generations.
