👩🏽‍💻 Practical Supports & Wraparound Services

🌿 Why Financial Wellbeing Matters

  •  Everyone deserves financial wellbeing — it’s a foundation for life, not a privilege for a few

  • When income is uncertain or debt feels overwhelming, it’s hard to focus on healing, education, or connection

  • For many in our communities, especially migrants and former refugees, the struggle doesn’t end with resettlement — financial stress can linger long after the journey begins

  • Generational hardship often runs deep, especially when trauma and poverty are woven together — but with the right tools and support, cycles can be broken

  • Our people deserve support that respects their culture, their story, and their aspirations

  • That’s why we offer wraparound care, including gentle referrals to trusted services for:

  • Employment and training pathways

  • Safe, stable housing support

  • Legal advice and rights-based advocacy

📌 Areas of Focus

👩🏽‍💻 Practical Supports & Wraparound Services

👩🏽‍💻 Practical Supports & Wraparound Services

1. Former Refugees & Migrant Families
We understand the challenges of starting over in a new country — the unfamiliar systems, the pressure to provide, and the weight of what you’ve left behind. Our approach is gentle, informed, and rooted in manaakitanga. You won’t have to explain your culture — we honour it.

2. Women (especially single mothers & survivors of violence)
We offer safe, confidential, and supportive guidance for women taking control of their finances, often after navigating difficult or isolating situations. We work with you at your pace, celebrating every small win.

3. Youth & Young Adults
We help rangatahi build strong financial habits early, with programmes that are practical, relatable, and future-focused. Whether it’s managing part-time income, saving for study, or supporting family — we’re here to equip and uplift.

4. Elders (Kaumātua & Migrant Seniors)
We respect the wisdom and contribution of our elders, and we ensure they have the tools and support to manage their money safely. Our team takes the time to explain things clearly, in your language, and with deep patience and care.
