A Fatimah Foundation service for everyone with a focus on supporting Ethnic, Migrant and Former Refugees communities, families and individuals
6/115 Church Street, Ōtāhuhu, Auckland 1062, New Zealand
At Fatimah Foundation, our counselling and psychological services are grounded in aroha, spiritual care, and cultural understanding.
We specialise in supporting individuals and whānau who have experienced trauma, displacement, and complex life challenges. Our experienced and ethnic counsellors and psychologists provide care in a range of languages, so you feel safe, seen, and deeply understood from the very first conversation.
Arabic, Dari, English, Persian, Spanish
Whether you're navigating grief, family violence, addiction, mental distress, or the upheaval of life’s major transitions, our team brings calm, compassion, and clarity to hold you through it. With particular care for vulnerable youth and former refugees, we walk alongside those who carry stories of loss, resilience, and hope.
We offer expert support across the lifespan — working with children, teenagers, adults of all genders, senior adults, and whole families. Our team includes a dedicated child counsellor and professionals trained in culturally safe, trauma-informed practice that honours both faith and whakapapa.
To make our support accessible, we offer sessions online, by phone, or kanohi ki te kanohi (in person) — always grounded in relationship, connection, and care.
This is not just counselling. It’s a sacred space to breathe, to be held, and to heal.
Our trauma-informed counselling offers compassionate, specialist support for individuals living with the effects of trauma. We create spaces of safety, resilience, and healing, walking with you toward restoration and wholeness.
